| | Set for a chef's table overlooking the marina | New Look at Hyatt Regency Sarasota Hyatt Regency Sarasota in Southwest Florida recently completed a $22 million renovation. The property-wide makeover encompassed the Hyatt's 20,000 square feet of meeting space including the addition of the 2,000 square-foot Tropics Room, which overlooks Sarasota Bay and the hotel’s 32-slip private marina. All 294 guest rooms have been completely redesigned and amenities such as the signature Hyatt Grand Bed, iPod® docking stations and many other upgrades have been added. The lobby area, fitness center and library of the resort have been completely transformed and the new bi-level Currents restaurant features fresh Floribbean cuisine.
The Hyatt features three tropically landscaped outdoor courtyards and in December of this year, another 2,000 square feet of function space built directly on the water will be open for group events. The all-new lobby of the Hyatt Regency Sarasota |
In and around the resort, groups can experience a chef's table or board a yacht for a sunset cruise or a deep-sea fishing boat from the on-site marina. The Hyatt is located in downtown Sarasota, with its plentiful dine-around options, thriving arts community and entertainment venues. In close proximity to the area's celebrated white-sand Gulf beaches and the fashionable dining and shopping of St. Armand's Circle, there is no shortage of options for groups. Interesting off-site venues include the Ringling Museum of Art, since, after all, this sophisticated city has circus roots woven into its history.
The Hyatt is currently offering special group incentives to celebrate their revitalization.
