The Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center is ideal for meetings of all sizes. Located just minutes from Interstate-95, south Florida’s main north-south artery, the center encompasses 17 acres at the northern end of Port Everglades, which is the world’s second largest cruise port. At three stories tall, the center offers stunning vistas of the Intracoastal Waterway and the city of Fort Lauderdale.
The Convention Center features 600,000 square feet of flexible function space, including 200,000 square feet of exhibit space, two large ballrooms at 33,000 and 20,000 square-feet each and 54,325 square feet of meeting space. In addition, there are ample pre-function and registration areas. State-of-the-art technology features include video conferencing, an executive teleconference suite and a Cyber Café offering Internet access. Transportation in Greater Fort Lauderdale is a breeze. Colorful water taxis can transport attendees from the Convention Center to popular attractions such as the waterfront Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Las Olas Boulevard, hotels, restaurants and nightspots. Conveniently located approximately two miles from the Convention Center, the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is spacious, convenient and user-friendly. The airport is also just minutes from the business district, major hotels, Port Everglades, beaches and major highways.
Private aircraft can land at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, North Perry Airport or the Pompano Beach Airpark. Fort Lauderdale is also a 45-minute drive from airports in West Palm Beach and Miami.
